My Spoonflower fabric arrived about 3 weeks ago, but I haven’t had time to share it until now!
Can I just start with the shipping time being amazeballs. Yes, that’s right. AMAZE. BALLS.
When you live in Australia, you get used to anything from America taking weeks to arrive. This fabric arrived to me in like 4 days. Yes, I paid for express shipping, but my experience in the past has meant my ‘express’ shipping has still taken a week and a half to arrive. So, as you can tell, I’m pretty happy with how quickly my fabric arrived.
Anywho, I’m so impressed with it. The only thing I’d do differently is order my logo and wording in black and white. The fabric is like an off white, so the yellow in my logo is quite hard to read .. I’m so impressed with Spoonflower though, that I’ve gone ahead and ordered more fabric! I definitely recommend you give it a go, especially if you need something custom.
I saw this amazing 1 hour quilt triangle tutorial on Instagram the other day, which uses a custom Spoonflower fabric. When I first read the post I was like, ‘What?! As if!’ and yeah, so it’s not reallllly a quilt in that nothing is pieced, but you still need to baste and bind so it’s pretty much halfway there, right?!
Anyway, after seeing that tutorial I realised just how much scope there is with Spoonflower fabric .. Have a looksie!
