Adric & Erin 338Hi there, and welcome to crosstitchery!

I’m Erin, a Contracts Specialist during work hours, and an avid crafter, cross stitcher, and DIY’er all other hours.

Having started working on craft projects from the age of 5 when my mum bought me my first cross stitch, I’ve completed various projects but until recently, I never thought to photograph (or share!) them, so this is how crosstitchery began .. to track my creative journey, share my completions and learnings, and channel inspiration from other people around the world.

My husband (Mr A) & I live in Australia, and love spending time outdoors bike riding, and swimming at the beach so sometimes it’s really hard to make the WIP pile shorter! Both coming from large families, we have an abundance of brothers and sisters (14 between us to be exact!) and love spending time our family and friends.

I originally started crosstitchery as a way to track and share my craft completions only, but it has grown into more than that now – I run a tiny, tiny little business making custom commissions for people; cushions, quilts, cross stitches and more, and I also share my fitness journey from time to time, so you’ll get a bit of everything on this blog! :)

I look forward to chatting with you, and taking inspiration from your own blogs and journeys!

  5. Trust me the pleasure is all mine. I love how you have taken the Adelle theme and really made it your own. It was one of the themes I had considered for my own blog :) Really enjoy your personalizations from the header image to the widgets and even the comments section. Great work! :)

      • Thank you very much! :) I’m just getting started. Still tinkering around and modifying bits and bobs every chance I get. The ideas are there. Just need to figure out how to translate them to real life :D I’ll get there eventually :)
